I like it. The bad thing is there is no delete key which Apple has. The other bad thing is you need to charge separately.

I love this case, I love the keyboard. It feels great, looks great. The keyboard has a bit of flex, and it is definitely hefty. Even with the flex, the stability is great. Doesn’t feel like it will fall off my lap, however, If in portrait mode at max back tilt, it will fall over! There are only two downsides to me, and both are purely due to my personal preference. I do wish they managed to use the Smart Connector with the iPad Pro, instead of Bluetooth. However, the Bluetooth appears to have next to no latency, and honestly, other then the fact that I can’t charge my iPad with it, is easy to forget it is Bluetooth! The other one, which is much more important to me, is that the detachable sub case isn’t comparable with their other cases.I’m a digital artist, and was hoping I could use the same detachable case for this keyboard case that I use for my ESR folding case so I can switch between drawing and typing easily. The fact that they aren’t comparable is honestly rather frustrating, but I should be able to figure out.Other than those two, very niche complaints, I do really adore this case.

Second best after Apple Magic Keyboard
What I didn’t like:
1- twice as heavy as AMK
2- doesn’t fold properly
3- iPad doesn’t sleep when closed you have to use button
4- small mouse pad
What I liked:
1- more stable than AMK
2- can view iPad vertically
3- very sturdy and well built
4- high material matching AMK
5- extra IPad protection for when de attached

I purchased this for my new iPad based on a review. I read in wire cutter.I did not take into consideration the weight of the item. The product does work as anticipated and I believe if he really needed a keyboard regularly and used your iPad as your main computer, and didn’t travel with it much, or mind the weight it would work great. However, for my purposes, and my husbands, this item was just too heavy and not going to work for what we needed. We returned them immediately.

This keyboard is a great alternative to the Magic Keyboard and the Combo Touch. My favorite aspect of this case is the added protection by including a case for the iPad. The Magic Keyboard does not come with a case for the iPad, and it is difficult to find a decent and functional case that is compatible with the Magic Keyboard. I also tried the Combo Touch, but I found that it took up too much space. Because the Combo Touch keyboard is very wide and the case has a kickstand instead of a floating display design, it takes up way too much space on a flat surface. The ESR Keyboard Case functions amazingly well. I really enjoy the function keys that the keyboard has as well as the several backlight modes. While the quality can’t compare to the aluminum Magic Keyboard, for a third of the cost this product is amazing. The keys are nicely spaced, so there’s no need to worry about mis-clicks. For those who use iPads with a pencil and keyboard, the fact that the iPad has its own case eliminates the worry of placing the bare iPad. I would recommend this case to anyone looking for a great third party alternative keyboard case.

keyboard case is a bit heavy but well built.
I like that it has the ability to detach the iPad easily from the keyboard while still having a case around the iPad. Also convenient to rotate iPad to portrait orientation with magnetic attachment.

Have not used long enough to comment on the battery life.

This product fits my 13" iPad Pro very well. The detachable case in itself is a deal, but to make it connect to the keyboard magnetically is awesome. I appreciate the keyboard buttons and how nice it is. totally recommend if you’re looking for an iPad cover with a keyboard.

Good keyboard, but it’s quite heavy, not very portable but a really good alternative to the Apple’s Magic Keyboard, cool how you can change the keyboard light coloring, very protective, and even the pencil gets protection, overall a very nice keyboard, magnets work great, very good pricing, Bluetooth.

The case itself is pretty heavy, but that’s the only real downside. The magnet is super strong allowing it to keep the iPad up properly. I’ve had it for a month, and it’s really lovely!
