With the new iPad mini out there isn’t most aftermarket pencils that would work. I can confirm that this will work for the new iPad mini 7 A17 Pro.

The product itself is great for the price but beware it does NOT wirelessly charge for iPad Air m2, this isn’t the manufacturers fault as I looked at the official website and it does say this, I think I will return it for one that does but it does everything else really well, if u have an older gen iPad it will wirelessly charge flawlessly I’d assume

I like that it can magnetically charge but it doesn’t stick that well and charges very slowly

Loved it but feels heavy after adding the case and keyboard but the advantage is you can detach and use it.

Purchased this in Sep 2023 based on some of the reviews and it’s fantastic. Turns my ipad into a laptop which is perfect for my needs.UPDATE: May 10, 2024 – all of a sudden a few keys have stopped working on the keyboard – x,s,w,2 so that’s weird. I have taken impeccable care of this device, and overnight it just stopped working???! I’ve googled everything I could to fix it on my own without contacting ESR customer support. Hopefully ESR will get back to me within their stated 24hrs with a solution – will update this review once that occurs.UPDATE: May 13, 2024 – reached out to ESR on the 10th of May and received a quick response from their customer support and they’re sending me a new keyboard – free of charge. I’m thrilled with their service and with the keyboard. I have purchased several items from ESR in the past (screen protectors, phone holder for my truck etc.) and will remain a loyal customer from now on. Not often nowadays to find a company who actually cares about their products and customers. Thanks ESR for your quality products, integrity and fabulous service!!

This does not work for the iPad Air m2 11 inch
However, this does work for the iPad Pro M1
I bought this for the air 2 expecting it to charge wirelessly… it does not
