This is the best iPad case I’ve ever used. Being able to remove the cover and use it only when needed saves weight but keeps the protection. Plus, being able to rotate the iPad without having the cover hanging of the side is genius. The magnets are strong and hold the iPad well. The lip around the front means if I lay the iPad face-down it’s protected. I added a Bersem paperlike screen protector (also 5 stars), and I have great protection. One suggestion: When you turn the iPad to portrait, you can only do it with the power socket on the bottom, meaning you can’t leave it plugged in. This may be due to where Apple puts the magnets inside the iPad, but for now I have to set the iPad on a couple books so I can keep it juiced up while in portrait. Wish I could turn it 180 and have the power cord come out the top.Removing one star because of my suggestion and because people don’t read five-star reviews. This is a great product! Far better than Apple’s $99 cover.

I like that it is very protective and like that you can change the stand depending on the view. I like it as a student that travels often with my iPad.

My 10 year old iPad Air was severely on its way out so I treated myself to a new one. I decided to go for the 13” this time and I’m so glad I did as I can see everything a lot clearer now with my ageing eyes. It does mean it’s a lot heavier than my old one. I didn’t use a cover on my old one as I find it awkward to use the buttons, heavy, clumsy and flappy, and you loose the style of the iPad. I didn’t need one as it’s never left the house but due to the price and size of my new one I wanted to protect it and still have it looking beautiful. I nearly went for the one with the clear back that apple sponsor but I came across ESR whilst looking through reviews on the other one. I’m so glad I checked them out. I’ve never heard of the brand but they are really good. I bought the glass screen protector which is excellent and the writing screen protector too, not yet fitted. What appealed to me with both brands was the clear back which I could not find on any other brand. I have had a personalised affirmation engraved on the back of the iPad so why cover it up with a standard cover. So after looking into this one I decided to ditch the apple sponsored one, it was more than double the price too. The second reason I went for ESR is that I can take out my iPad from the main cover and it’s still protected, with the plastic round the edge, the clear back and of course the glass protector I purchased separately. It’s not unlike my iPhone cover. It is easily placed back inside the main cover securely with a very strong magnet. This magnet also serves to keep your iPad secure in the different usage positions. The pencil is also secured with a strong magnet on the side. I watched a video comparing this with the Shift cover which is stronger. At first I was worried this one wouldn’t be as supportive in the positions, but it is. It’s said to have a soft touch. I thought it was going to have a fabric type cover but it’s just plastic but it is very soft, not like a plastic feel. I am over the moon with it. I decided to go for a colour as it’s got a positive vibe compared to black or grey which I usually go for with tech items. I went for the light blue as it almost perfectly matches my sofa and is a calming colour. The best thing about it, is that I can take out my iPad and use it without the main cover. My iPad is heavy enough as it is, and although the cover is light compared to others, it’s still extra weight. It also means I don’t have the irritation of a floppy cover which is the main reason I’ve not used covers before. The buttons are also easy to press. It’s also hygienic compared to other leather or rubber cumbersome types as it’s easily wiped down, being smooth plastic. I highly recommend. You won’t regret it, if your preferences are the same as mine. I can’t stop looking at it. 🤣 If I could give it 10 stars I would, which I’ve never said on any other reviews. Thanks ESR for your amazing design.

The different modes of viewing the iPad is remarkable compared to all other similarly placed models. Extremely sturdy, premium finish, detachable case are truly appreciative. I will highly recommend this, it’s been about 2 weeks since my purchase. The only feedback would be for the company to give a little more tilt view for the standard fold mode.

Very nice simple case, but it does make my iPad Air rather heavier, which kinda defeated the purpose of getting a lighter iPad. But it does protect my iPad so I wouldn’t do without it. I bought an even sturdier one but it was wayyyyyy too heavy. This was a nice compromise.

It works as a protective case to my very expensive toy. Easy to use. Works as described.
