This is a two-piece item: a frame and a cover/stand. The frame is a dense, rubbery plastic gasket that fits completely around the iPad’s rim. The front side is open, but the back side is covered by a clear plastic sheet, enabling you to see the tablet’s color and any message inscribed. There’s groove on top of the frame to hold a pencil/stylus.The frame with tablet magnetically attaches to the cover. The magnets aren’t super strong but do a decent job of securing the tablet. You can fold the front cover up and use the magnetic flap on the rear cover to hold everything securely in place including the stylus. Or you can wrap the front cover 180 degrees to the back side and hold the combo like a magazine. Finally, there are two options for using the cover as a stand. First, the rear cover can fold into three sections making a familiar triangular pyramid stand at the base. Second, pull the bottom of the frame forward and your can tilt the tablet backwards like a lean-to.This is a functional and convenient way to protect your tablet at a very reasonable price.

The quality is great. It just adds a ton of weight to my iPad with the outer cover. The main reason I got the 2024 iPad Air is because of how light it is for being 13 inches but this case negates all of the weight and it’s tough to hold for long periods at a time without support

Love the way you can stand your iPad up. Cover protects screen. Would highly recommend

The pencil flap does not stick back properly and keeps coming in the way of the screen. Rest, the product is good.

First and foremost this folio is designed specifically for iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024, NOT for iPad Pro M4 2024 or iPad Pro 12.9 inch (Gen 6). Many brands sold on ESR claim the folio for iPad Pro 12.9 inch (Gen 6) is compatible with iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024. That’s A LIE. Because the dimensions and thickness of the iPad Pro M4 13-inch 2024 vs iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024 vs iPad Pro 12.9 (Gen 6) are different.Yes, iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024 and iPad Pro 12.9 (Gen 6) have the "same dimensions" but they have different "thicknesses" ( Air M2> 6.1mm vs Pro 12.9> 6.4mm). The iPad Pro M4 13-inch 2024 has different dimensions and thicknesses than the iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024 & iPad Pro 12.9. Sure, the thickness might only be a few millimeters different, but if you bought a $900+ iPad, of course, you want to buy a folio that is designed "specifically" for your iPad. Not shoehorn folio for other iPads. So be careful when you buy a folio for your iPad Air 13-inch M2 2024. If you buy a folio or keyboard without "a separate case" that comes with it (typically a magnetic case), you can buy the iPad Pro 12.9 folio for your iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024. Because there’s "no case" for you to put your iPad in the folio. But if the folio or the keyboard includes "a separate case" for your iPad, stay away from any seller who claims the Pad Pro 12.9 folio/case is compatible with iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024. That’s a total BS and a lie. I read so many comments of people complaining about how a case for their iPad doesn’t fit. Well, KNOW your IPAD SPEC people. Also, check if they come with separate cases or not. That will determine if you can buy a 12.9 iPad Pro folio/case for your iPad Air M2 2024,So with that being said, this brand ESR is good. The proof is this case. A good example of attention to detail. They sold this case specifically for iPad Air M2 13-inch 2024. So guarantee, it fits your iPad 2024 iPad Air.BUILDThe case itself is sturdy and fits snugly. I have a bit of a hard time to fit my iPad in. But it’s not a problem. It’s good because it’s a tight fit. It comes with a separate case with clear plastic at the back. So it lets the case showcase the color of your iPad when you take it off the folio. The case itself provides good protection on all sides, front and back. The front of the case raises a bit, so if the iPad falls flat, it will protect the screen. So overall, the case and the folio feel solid and rugged.WEIGHTIt’s on the heavy side. But I honestly think that the iPad Air 13-inch is heavy. So, adding this case makes it heavier almost like a Macbook. I have no issue with the weight. Since I won’t be using it by holding one hand. Like I said the 13-inch iPad itself is already heavy for me. If you want a featherweight case, this is not what you are looking for. You might want to find a magnetic folio style without a separate case. (aka no protection for your iPad)FITAll the holes match nicely. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are superb. The power button for the fingerprint ID doesn’t hinder the function. I was worried about it when I saw how thick the edges of the case were. But I didn’t have an issue, and my fingerprint registered fine.MAGNETI think the magnet is strong enough. I don’t understand why people said that the magnet isn’t strong enough. What are you going to do with your iPad? Are you going to throw it to your friend like a frisbee or something? As far as my test, using a normal iPad use, and the possible scenario when we dropped it, the magnet is pretty strong. Besides it sits inside a robust case. So overall, the magnetic is strong enough for its intended use. If you are looking for any magnetic iPad accessories that can stick like super glue, well this is not for you.OVERALLI’m happy with my purchase. The quality and the price are good. As far as weight-wise, I think it’s subjective. Because, as I said the iPad Air 13-inch M2 2024 is not a featherweight in the first place and IMO it’s heavy. So I’m planning to buy the ESR keyboard and treat it exactly like "a laptop". I carry my laptop around the house, so being heavy isn’t an issue. If you are looking for a lightweight folio this is not for you. But if you are looking for a good quality folio with robust protection for your iPad, then I would recommend this folio.

I just purchased the IPAD Air M2 13 in. I love this larger IPAD. I have been looking at cases and this is the second I purchased. It is a keeper!!Things I really appreciate: The folio case has a detachable magnetic case (frame) that gives it the ability to be used in portrait and landscape mode. As well this frame protects the IPAD on the back as well as on all sides. It can be detached when the folio part isn’t required which is usually when I am taking the Air somewhere outside of home. The cutouts of buttons match perfectly. The colour blue is deeper than the blue AIR but that’s OK.All in all I highly recommend it.

The color is great it match my iPad but it’s so heavy. It’s true match. Love it but bit heavy. Also it has an odd smell. I did clean it up but the smell still there. But I’m going to keep it
