I absolutely love this case. I’ve been needing one like this forever and glad. Finally someone made one.

I thought I would like and use this case for the “ stand “ feature, but this case is now collecting dust. I just use the apple folio case I got when I got my M4. It’s a good product if you don’t want the apple folio but it doesn’t give it that futuristic feel i get with the folio or Magic Keyboard. Probably because this case is or feels plastic. It’s kind of like cheap tires on a nice car. I would recommend to someone who doesn’t like the apple folio case and wants something durable i guess, but i hate this plastic, I also feel like my iPad bent a little bit after heating up while in this case. Could be coincidence but I’m not sure. Good luck hope everyone is enjoying their M4 iPads ! 11” all the way, pause

I was excited to get this case as I had pre-ordered a ZUGU case and became dissatisfied with it after a few weeks and the $70 price tag, so I was looking for alternatives. There are so few cases designed like this – the reverse full-sized support type vs. the "small triangle support" – that I was willing to try it. It’s a sturdy, well-designed cases with quality materials. The price is quite good as well for what you get.Unfortunately, it’s the heaviest case I’ve ever seen by far for an iPad at 17.8oz. This is heavier than the iPad itself which is 17oz! I was shocked at how heavy my iPad became when put into this case. This case is 36% heavier than the ZUGU case (13.1oz), and 109% heavier that a Pitaka case (8.5oz, though a different design so not a 1:1 comparison). The iPad plus this case is 34.8oz (2 pounds 2.8oz).It’s fair to say it’s heavier because it offers more options with magnets everywhere – such as the plastic shell that allows you to attach the iPad in a raised position – but these were things I didn’t need. If the plastic case was thin enough and had exposed pins to allow it to attach to an Apple Magic Keyboard, well that would be a different story. But, sadly, it does not.Additionally, I found it really strange how the case cover shifted constantly when closed. Every time I picked it up, there wasn’t a sense I was picking up a closed iPad, it always moved so felt a bit weird. Not a deal breaker, but not something I like to see in a case.If you don’t mind the weight, and need the features this case offers, it’s a decent choice. But for me, it was not, and I’m returning it.

Strong rare earth magnets keep pieces together. Good gripping surface for handheld reading when not propped up.

After reading the reviews wasn’t too sure, however this case is almost perfect. It fits securely , is secure in portrait or landscape. ( I don’t know why all cases aren’t convertible – seems dumb to me not to be.)Appears to be good quality, isn’t too heavy and protects my new iPad well. I like the various reading/writing levels for landscape mode, the only thing I don’t like is the solution for carrying the pen. Would like to see design where it attaches to any of the four sides. The other piece I don’t get is the ability to raise the devise up. Doesn’t feel too secure in that configuration and not clear when it would have utility really.But…. I am extremely happy with this case, have shown it to others who express the same enthusiasm. I think it is priced about 5-7% too high.

The ESR Shift is a nice and versatile case. I specifically wanted something that offered a bit of protection, let me prop my iPad up at different angles, and also have a removable front cover. This case handles all of that.It comes with a protective case that your iPad slips into which covers the entirety of the back and corners of your iPad. The cameras are recessed so they’re protected when the iPad is lying flat on its back and there’s a small rubber lip around the screen so that the screen doesn’t touch the surface when lying flat on its face. The corners seem fairly well protected by the rubber enclosure as well which should offer some drop protection. There’s also a slot for the Pencil though I didn’t test how well that works as I don’t have that accessory. This can then be placed in a detachable outer slip case that has positions for multiple angles if you want to prop your iPad up and also a magnetic front flap to cover the screen. This flap does turn on/off the iPad when opened/closed. The entire iPad is held in this outer case via fairly strong magnets.I really like this case because if I want to be more lightweight, I can just use the iPad solely in the inner case or if I want to prop it up or throw it in a bag while giving a bit more protection, I can magnetically attach the outer cover. If I had to nitpick I’d say it’s a bit heavy (like others have mentioned) when using the outer cover and that, due to the strength of the magnets, it can be a bit tough to separate the outer cover when you just want to use the case.Overall though, I’m very pleased with this product and would recommend it if you need the versatility!

I purchased this hoping that it would work well on my lap. I couldn’t be happier. I use my iPad mostly when sitting on the couch and wanted something sturdy enough to stay upright on its own without falling over. This definitely fits the bill. I use it in both portrait and landscape modes, so this is perfect for me. I have issues with my neck, and this case keeps me from having to look down as much. It is heavy, but the case gives good protection and is easily removable.

This is the smartest case, stand & cover I see for the 11” M4. However, the finish on it is unsatisfactory. The case is hard. Dunno why they didn’t wrap it in silicon & line it with felt or a suede like interior. Also, the folio is hard and slick to the touch. It also has sharp edges on all sides & corners. So, it too could use a silicon bath or cloth wrap of some sort. Beyond that, this Folio is genius. In particular the way that the magnets are embedded throughout to make it stable, modular & versatile.

This is my new favorite cover.it is so adjustable and the magnetic element allowing you to stick it on the fridge when following a recipe it a nice trick!

I like the case but it adds too much extra weight. Love the viewing angles and the multifunction placement of the iPad. I would recommend this case if your iPad is mostly on a hard surface.
