I have used a number of ESR products and have been very happy with them. However, they have let the quality slip with this product. Details areimportant.
Aside from being heavy:
1. The delay for BT connection is too long.
2. It does not close all the way (unless you fasten the pencil protector strap. The hinge is too loose.
3. The QR code to register the device and extend the warranty flat out does not work. It take you to an invalid web page. Sloppy on their part.
4. To demonstrate the sloppiness and lack of attention to detail, the instruction sheet was obviously written for a different device. It details the use of the Fn key with the numeric keys when they supply a whole row of function keys. Completely unacceptable.

The Anti glare, the feel is amazing. The feel and material is too notch as well as the fingerprint resistance

I had bought and returned the Apple M4 Keyboard – That was light, Apple like BUT, apart from the high cost had a TERMINAL FLAW – Apple Keyboard could not do Portrait!<br /><br />Anyway I had already been looking at ESR and had bought it but was about to send it back unopened, as it was heavier than the Apple M4 but as the failure of Apple to admit to not being able to Portrait Mode, I sent that back and tried to the ESR…..<br /><br />Yes, it is heavier BUT then the iPad Pro M4 13 inch, itself, is light.<br /><br />The ESR encompasses the iPad in a protective case which the Apple Version does not – I prefer this – as it means the iPad is protected when not used with the Keyboard. Also it adds some of the extra weight compared to Apple’s – not much, but negates some of the Apple weight advantage, which does not offer this direct protection.<br /><br />The Keyboard’s Magnetic back switches from Landscape to Portrait and back to Landscape, with ease.<br /><br />You CANNOT charge your iPad via it but no big issue – just remember you need to charge up the keyboard too with the USB-C Port, on the right.<br /><br />It connects via Bluetooth, with ease.<br /><br />Touchpad works well – though smaller than Apple’s – not a biggie.<br /><br />Stores the iPad Pencil under the conventional top flap to safely secure it on the magnetic edge.<br /><br />And all for a 1/4 of the price! Well done ESR!

I love the price vs the Apple Magic Keyboard. It does everything I need it to do protect my ipad, and give me access to a detachable keyboard. I have gotten compliments for my light up keyboard changing colors.Wish I could preset some color cycles.

First let me say I usually like their products. I have quite a few from them but I had never used one of their screen protectors before. I was so excited to try it because 1. It’s looked easy to install and 2. I’ve liked every other product I purchased from them. The first thing that went wrong was when I was installing the screen protector the entire screen protector peeled away with the tab 2 and came off. So of course now all the little floating dust has stuck to it and gave continuous bubbles because I had to keep raising it up and re sticking it. I got frustrated and used the second one which I now handled it with extreme care and got it on but my ocd kicked in because of how it’s cut around the edges. I know it’s not that important but I can’t not see it and I know dust will accumulate there and it’s on all the edges. The screen does create some noise esp when looking at whites and light colors but I feel like I’ll get use to that and probably won’t see it after a while. If the little things I mentioned don’t bother you then this is a good one for you. If anyone can recommend a better fitting screen protector with less noise please let me know. I’ll pay even if it’s pricey because I do use my tablet a lot from work and art.

I originally saw this case on TikTok as a great alternative to apples version and it literally is like $30 which is not 500 like apples case and it’s literally the same thing don’t waste your money on apples $500 keyboard get this instead so much better, highly recommend it.

I love this screen on the iPad. It makes using it feel like actual paper. It protects from scratches and nicks and have great glare protection. It makes drawing and handwriting notes a breeze.

It’s hefty! But def well built. I LOVE the option to have my ipad either horizontal or vertical.

This keyboard case combo is better than I expected! The keys are very nice and raised with backlight. The soft touch rubber feeling reminds me of the original magic keyboard. Trackpad is a it small but that’s nit picking things. I feel it because the keyboard is more spacious. It also has a nice row of function keys. If you want a much cheaper Magic Keyboard alternative this is probably the keyboard case combo to go with. You get good build quality with a lot of functions at a great price!

The keyboard does not switch on with the iPad and therefore not fully integrated with the iPad. When it’s manually turned on it does function reasonably, but it does switch off if not used for 3/4 minutes. This is very frustrating as If it’s a power saving feature it needs to be able to optionally switched on or off i.e user controlled/set.
