Almost impossible to mess up the application, just have to make sure the screen is clean, i was a little worried i had done it wrong because there were some bubbles but you just have to squeeze them to the side and they disappear.No difference to screen sensitivity and/or fingerprint smudging.Obviously the product is expendable as it’s mean to break so your screen doesn’t, but so far no small cracks.I would say other reviews are correct, that the positioning of the protector is very slightly too high, by like half a millimetre or so. With my case the protector and the case at the top has no gap, but the bottom has a small gap between the case and protector. But this hasn’t been a problem for me but it does give dust and pocket lint another nook to cling to
