When you are trying to purchase a wireless charger for your vehicle, there is always one major factor to consider: Heat.Wireless charging is not a very efficient process overall, and generates a lot of heat. For example, when using an Iphone or Android in my BMW X5 for a long drive with CarPlay or AndroidAuto, the built in wireless charger does not work efficiently as it causes the phone to overheat and not be usable.This ESR wireless charger is fantastic. I purchased this for my new Galaxy S25 Ultra with a QI2 certified case. I can ensure that this supports fast wireless charging, remains connected very well even when driving on bumps. Both the vent mount as well as the 3M tape mount are very strong and sturdy. I have no had any issue with shaking or stability. The also keeps the phone very cool even on long drives. I would highly recommend this charger, but make sure you do use a USB port that supports >20W power output per port (generally this means you need to get a separate cigarette lighter adapter).

Charger itself works great and feels secure, but stand is unstable. Super flimsy piece of plastic that peels of my dash.

I wanted to love this, I really did. I think I could get used to the blue light at night, although making that controllable would be awesome.What I can’t live with is that it doesn’t seem capable of charging an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a case thicker than 2 mm. The case I currently have is 2.8 mm. That really is not very thick at all, and is as skimpy as I’m willing to go for protection.Additionally, with the thicker case it actually drained my battery instead of charging when I turned the light/fan off one night.The stand worked fine with a thinner case on my phone. Again, the light is BRIGHT. I had to set up a piece of cardboard to block it so I could get to sleep. 😵💫

I was hesitant to buy something with a vent mount, but this product seems solid. The additional stabilizer arm meets up perfectly with dash in Mazda CX5, minimizing the ability to bounce.

This is the second one I have bought because it’s a game changer not only saves your battery from overheating but also keeps it safe whilst charging.

there’s two main problems with this charger.<br />1. for the price, it should’ve included a car 12v charger.<br />2. the "clip" type of attachement is too shallow and too slippery, so that the whoel thing will wobble and twist when clipped to the air vent. eventually, the clip will completely separate from the vent. ESR should’ve included a hook, or some other sort of stabilizer.<br /><br />I’ve used many ESR products in the past, and usually they’re 4/5 stars, but this one doesn’t live up to the others.
