my daughter uses it everyday and very suitable for her iPad Air.

Wanted to really like the keyboard as it types okay. The sound is also acceptable for me and the key travel as well. The backlit keys are a plus and I would have been happy with just white color on the keys instead of having to toggle through different colors. I do like that I can adjust brightness. Medium mode would have sufficed if there was no adjustment option. What I’m not fond of is the inconvenience of charging two ports since it does not have pass through charging (meaning, I have to charge the ipad and keyboard separately). I can’t complain for the price I paid vs Apple’s magic keyboard though. When I rest my palms to type, the base of my thumbs hit the trackpad and it adjusts the screen of my ipad which is annoying. So I have to float while typing which I guess is a bad habit of mine not typing properly.
But the biggest design flaw I’m finding is the way it tilts the Ipad. It doesn’t tilt back enough and so the bottom of the Ipad covers the top row keys and you would have to squeeze your fingers through to get to those keys so this loses the functionality and slightly defeats the purpose of the keyboard. I’m not sure if it’s just my product or they are all design this way. In comparison to Apple’s magic keyboard, all keys are accessible which is great and the keys are highly responsive and easy to type. With this one, when I touch type, I’m finding that I have to press the keys harder to be more accurate. Lots of adjustment since the keys have to really touch the bottom for it to register the letter. Otherwise, a lot of deletions for you.
Can’t comment on how long the battery will last as I just started testing the product out. I don’t know if i want to keep it.

This keyboard case is a great value for the price. The package includes the case and a charging cable. It feels sturdy, and the magnet holding the iPad is impressively strong. The backlit keyboard offers multiple color options, including a dynamic mode with changing colors. Although the QR code provided for a setup video didn’t work, the setup process is straightforward enough that the video isn’t really necessary. Pairing is simple and intuitive, even without instructions. The trackpad is slightly less responsive compared to Apple products, but it still performs well for the price point. If you’re in the market for a durable, affordable magnetic keyboard that gets the job done, this is an excellent choice.

So happy with this item. Went to Apple Store and tried there keyboard but was not going to pay that much for a keyboard. After looking around and watching YouTube reviews this one kept coming up.Arrived great packaging and charged it up. Paired really easy works smoothly with the iPad and love the different backlight colours.

I think the weak point of this keyboard is its touchpad. I just got this keyboard yesterday, but after a short period of use, when I try to zoom or scroll, the touchpad stops working. It is annoying!!

This keyboard is very good overall. I have been using it for almost 2 months now and have no major issues with the keyboard. Although you do have the charge it, it charges very fast and lasts a long time. There are some small issues where the ipad is not equally balanced in weight so when the iPad is tilted back, the keyboard comes up a little. I’m not sure if this is just an issue I have but when pressing the Caps lock button, it does not respond immediately and takes 3-5 clicks for caps lock to be turned on. The keyboard also goes to sleep pretty quickly when not in use and can sometimes take 5-8 seconds to turn back on and/or reconnect. Otherwise the keyboard is very good and I’m sure very similar to the apply keyboard for 1/4 of the price

Full disclosure: this is my first experience with any type of keyboard for an iPad, I’ve only ever used them as a touch device. I decided to grab this ESR option after some YouTube inspiration. I really like this keyboard – it has changed the way I use my device. If you’re looking for a lower cost keyboard alternative this one is absolutely worth a look! The bluetooth setup is seamless, the backlit key colours are vivid, nice tactile touch when typing. The magnetic connection is secure and case sits securely during use. I should also mention that the ESR customer service response is friendly, fast and helpful!
